Haskap berries also have a unique anthocyanin profile, with one specific anthocyanin called cyanidin-3-glucoside, known as C3G, making around 85% of the total anthocyanin content.
It is noteworthy that cyanidin is 4.4 times more active than vitamin C.
Haskap berries have as such as three times the amount of antioxidants than wild blueberries and contain iridoids, rarely found in fruits, that's why haskap berries have anti-inflammatory properties.
